SLIDE Remote is a lightweight helper process that SLIDE uses when testing policy on a remote system to install the policy and retrieve audit messages generated during testing. Follow the instructions on the download and install page of the project website for SLIDE to install SLIDE Remote.
Note: SLIDE Remote is intended to be used during development of policy on testing machines only.
After installing SLIDE Remote start the process by typing 'slideRemote' on the command line. SLIDE Remote will begin listening for requests from SLIDE and it will display some information about what it is doing while running.
