The graphical editor in CDS Framework Toolkit is the primary way to design the security architecture for a CDS. Items are created by selecting a tool on the Palette and clicking in the graphical editor.
If there is a problem with a particular component, there will be an error or warning icon on the item in the editor. This error will also appear in the Problem View with text describing the error.
The figure below displays the system, guard in the graphical editor. To the right of the graphical editor is the tool palette. This is used to select policy items to add to the system displayed in the graphical editor.
