The two primary security goals particular to CDS systems are information flow and information domain separation. These security goals can be achieved for a CDS using the following basic concepts: domains, shared resources, access, and decomposition. The additional concepts of base domains, base resources, network resources, control resources and entrypoints are built on these basic concepts.
